DATE: Art Deco, c.1920

Sweet antique ring comprising two silver bands, each one featuring a lover's knot at the head. Quite charmingly, the two knots are interlinked - which is the only thing holding the two bands together. Big romantic sentiments. It dates from the early 20th century, circa 1920, with an early use of the © symbol to the inner bands.
