This is a high quality vintage strand of Japanese saltwater akoya cultured pearls.

The pearls range from 6.00-6.50mm and have great luster, rosy pink overtones and very few blemishes. They are very slightly graduated. 

Clasp is in solid sterling silver with an industrial/art deco design with hand engraving and milgrain. It is stamped "SILVER" which is an older mark for sterling. Total length is 16.25 inch. Longer choker length. From Japan 1930's-1950's.

All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned and restrung. Some light pitting on the back of the clasp.
